September, 1981
Established Hosei Trading Company.
1982
Established Hosey Trading Company as an affiliate company in Hong Kong
1987
Started production and sales of memory modules
1989
Established Century Microelectronics in Silicon Valley, California as an affiliate comapny.
Started dealing memory modules world wide.
1992
Changed the company name to Century Micro Inc.
Started dealing in exclusive memory modules for IBM computer, and for Apple computer.
1993
Started business with Japan IBM as their authorized producer.
1997
Consolidated our OEM supply system, and expanded our sales to the major multiplex manufacturers and white-box manufacturers.
1998
Built our own company building in Shibuya, Tokyo.
Started targeting the market of self-made PC, started to supply to the D.I.Y. shops.
1999
Joined the World PC EXPO '99 in Makuhari.
Became a well-known company, and expanded sales.
2000
Established a factory in Dallas, U.S.A.
Have 3 factories in Japan, Hong Kong, and the U.S.
2001
Started mass-production of DDR-SDRAM memory modules.
Improved the quality by enhancing technical installations such as memory tester.
2002
Started Pb-free productions.
Started production of Pb-free memory modules.
2003
Started designing DDR2-SDRAM memory modules.
2004
Started mass-production of memory modules for RoHS.
Started mass-production ofDDR2-SDRAM memory modules.
2005
Moved into our present address in order to expand business and improve efficiency.
